Please wake up-Liz & Leo-Season finale Aftermath (from the clips we've seen-9/28/14)

She looked at his unconscious form, covered by a blanket she had managed to pull. While she held onto his ducky blanket. How she used to tease him about it. Maybe when he wakes up he would want it back. But until then…she needed something to hold onto.
When they arrived at the farmhouse, she wasn’t even able to comprehend the cool animals. She was just too out of it, her mind filled with all the confrontations she and Leo faced together.
The time she dared him and Raph to lip contact. Ugh, they hated it. But she and Angie definitely got some laughs from it. She remembered how he would be patient with her constant awkward ‘this is a real relationship’ thing. He was so kind to her when she was still getting over the trauma of her new body and the burning sensation that was the Mutagen. He was there with her whenever she wanted to cry about her mother’s absence. She wanted him to rely on her now. Sure she can be awkward, he knows that about her. But… if he wakes up-when he wakes up…she’ll be there to support him. Like he’s always supported her.
“It took all my courage to do that!”
“A kiss on my nose?”
“No! Not the nose!”
She stared into the naked face of her…boyfriend.
He looked so serine. Even though she knew that he must have been through hell. When he woke up, he would be through hell and back.
She stared at his white freckled face. She began to daze, sleeping soundly next to the Guardian Raph.
They didn’t usually get along all that well, she mostly just teased him. But he allowed her to stay with him, to keep watching Leo when he was out training. Yeah, she dozed off more than he did, but she refused to go anywhere else other than where Leo was. Until he wakes up.
She hadn’t left him since they saw him thrown through the window. She never left his side, she stayed with the van, she kept her eyes on him while Casey briefly searched for his family. She understood. She wanted to find her mother…but she knew she wouldn’t be able to interact even if she could find her. Tears welled up as she kept her gaze on Leo.
When everyone else came back, she was given a blanket that Mikey snatched up for her to keep her warm, comfortable from the shock.
After a few couple of months, everyone was starting to doubt if Leo would even wake up. But not her. She didn’t care if everyone else worries and frets over the possibility that Leo won’t get better and won’t wake up. She was convinced that he would return to them.
“He always does” She said to end all conversations.
But mostly because she didn’t want to believe the fact that she could lose someone dear to her.
“Leo…I can’t sleep.”
“What do you want me to do about it?”
“Sing soft kitty to me…”
She smiled at that while Raph came back in to look after the still sleeping Leo. No reports of any movement.
“Hey…” She tried. “If I sing to you, will you wake up?” She tried, “Come on…I’ll sing anything you want…” She chocked, her eyes wet as she said so.
“Soft Kitty?”
She jerked her head up to the weak, raspy voice. Raph stood up next to her as Leo’s eyes began to crack open.
“Guys! Guys! Get up here!”
Liz bolted over the tub and wrapped her arms around him.
After A moment she pulled back and spoke up, trying so hard not to let her voice crack from her tears. “Leo, you know I love you…and you have NO idea how happy and relieved I am that you woke up…” She started, trying to remember what it was that she was going to say…
And he looked surprised. “Wha-really?” He rasped. “Y-you lo-?” He started before she burst out.
“BUT YO VOICE MAN!” She let her blush shine in, remembering that she almost didn’t recognize that it was Leo. Because his voice changed drastically! “Stop that. It’s all hat and sexy and it makes me feel awkward!”
He stared at her, looking just as tired as he did when he woke up, if not more so.
Behind her, Mikey burst in. “Leo!”
He turned to the others, smiling tiredly. “Hey guys.” He rasped again.
Liz turned her head away, still getting ahold of herself how much he had changed.
Mikey then wrapped his arms around his big brother and did basically the same thing Liz did, except not commenting his voice. Maybe he was just too overwhelmed to see him awake and alive again.
When they pulled him out of the tub, all three of them helped, Liz pulled out the blanket that she had taken along with her and gently placed it over his shoulders and shell.
“Here.” He turned to her, recognizing the soft texture. “I thought you’d want it.”
He returned the smile.
